Raising children from a different racial and/or ethnic background comes with additional challenges. Join Stacey Goodson in discussing the rewards and challenges that come along with raising children that have experienced trauma and also look different from you. This training will focus on building relationships, exploring race in America, how to have discussions about race with your children, identify, acknowledge and address microaggressions and implicit biases as well as increasing your self-awareness. This training is designed to bring a certain level of discomfort among participants while being provided in a safe environment.
