The Charles H Wright Museum of African American History opens minds and changes lives through the exploration and celebration of African American history and culture. Our vision is of a world in which the adversity and achievement of African American history inspire everyone toward greater understanding, acceptance, and unity!

Your $20 ticket to this special event hosted by the Livingston Diversity Council includes entrance to the museum to view all current and permanent exhibits, a guided tour of the "And Still We Rise" exhibit and transportation to and from the museum.

After meeting at the Cleary Commons in Howell at 11:00 am, we will travel to the Charles H Wright Museum inside Detroit's Midtown Cultural Center. Following the guided tour, attendees will have the opportunity to view the Museum's other exhibits at your own pace. In addition to the permanent exhibits like "The Ring of Genealogy", "Stories in Stained Glass" and "Detroit Performs", you will also have access to the short term exhibits featuring "Detroit Jazz" and the "Jazz Greats".

Once our visit is concluded, we will travel back to Howell and attendees are invited to continue the conversation in our reserved seating at Aubree's Pizzeria & Grill.
