Listen, Learn & Live - A CommUNITY Conversation
Friday, June 26,, 2020 6 PM – 7 PM at the 242 Community Church - Brighton Campus
Join with the Livingston community for a collective gathering and moment of silence in the spirit of diversity. This event will serve as an opportunity to come together in person (or virtually) to listen, learn, and lend your voice. The event will take place at the 2|42 Community Center - located at 7526 Grand River Ave. Brighton 48114 - on Friday, June 26th from 6-7 pm.
The outdoor service will kick off with remarks from Michelle Ounanian, Next Steps Pastor at 2|42 Church followed by a devotional invitation to the community to join in a moment of silence, respect, and honor shared by Reverend Yolanda Whiten from St. James AME Church and DJ Reed, Pastor at Chilson Hills Church. Dr. Regina Banks-Hall, Dean of Graduate & Professional Studies at Cleary University will deliver a keynote address. As the event concludes our community will be invited with a call to action to engage in ongoing efforts to bring diversity equity and inclusion to the forefront of the Livingston County community.
