In recognition of Martin Luther King Jr., join us as we deepen our understanding of MLK Jr. and his profound impact on the civil rights movement. Partnering for the second year, the Livingston Diversity Council, Huron-Clinton Metroparks and the Howell Carnegie District Library are proud to bring you this incredible and inspiring event.
"Legacy and Liberation: A Gospel Tribute” will be held at The First Presbyterian Church of Howell (323 W Grand River Ave. Howell). This concert, directed by Lynn Williams, showcases PCS Ensemble, and explores the cultural and historical significance of gospel music in advocating for equality and freedom. The song selections will span from 1954 to 1968.
Before the concert begins, there will be a reception where refreshments will be served.
