LDC’s DEI & Schools committee is made up of individuals serving on the Board of Directors as well as educators, administrators and parents representing all five public school districts and several charter schools in Livingston County. This committee is charged with identifying where our schools are currently poised to address diversity, equity, inclusion and access within policies, professional development, curriculum and extra curricular opportunities for students. Once this baseline data is established, the committee will continue to drive collaborative resources and practices to enhance our students’ educational experience and support our educators.

The DEI & Schools committee meets monthly on the 1st Friday of the month at 11:00 am. Due to COVID-19, this committee is currently meeting virtually utilizing zoom. This community action committee is closed to new members at this time.
